Our CNC Machining Technology
Technology is constantly moving the boundaries of possibility in precision engineering; ensuring our clients have access to the very latest equipment is always our priority.
Many precision engineering workshops rely on relatively old technology and a limited capability; seeing it as a cost saving exercise on buying new equipment and CNC machining facilities.
At AD Engineering we look at a wider perspective; enhanced quality, enhanced productivity and enhanced capability are the things our customers demand and our ongoing investment in the latest equipment guarantees they get it.
Multi-axis CNC machining
Our high machining capability and diverse collection of multi-axis CNC machining equipment allows us to manufacture even the most complex components and parts in lightning fast turnaround times. We typically combine milling and turning in one complete operation bringing down lead times for our clients which also means incredible cost efficiency on all our projects.
CAD and CAM Technology
CAD/CAM integration into precision engineered component manufacture means incredible accuracy and much faster turnarounds especially on the most complex projects. Our production facility sees all our CNC machine tools DNC linked for offline programming and file storage, with the system accepting CAD drawings in almost any digital format. This means getting a component into production can be as simple as e-mailing us a design file and seeing it coming off the line within hours.
If you don’t have CAD access, we can also provide a full design service converting ideas and sketches into detailed production drawings for the fastest possible roll out through the CNC machining equipment.
Tracking every operating process within our precision engineering workshops, we use the latest MRP system technology to closely monitor our activities and keep everything running at maximum efficiency. This added layer of efficiency monitoring and quality management brings client costs down even further and regularly helps us reduce turnaround times for the best possible value.
Inspection technology constantly offers improved quality control and accuracy in every part of our CNC machining, turning and milling. Our CNC CMM inspection process is supported by PC DMIS software for the best possible results.
